What data UDS Protocol Simulator collects, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and the controls you have over it.
The policy sets out the categories of data collected — account details, billing records, support correspondence, and usage analytics — and the purpose each category serves. Diagnostic sessions you run in the simulator execute in your browser; the protocol traffic itself is not transmitted to the server.
Processing is described against the GDPR legal bases that apply to it, together with the retention period for each category of data and what triggers deletion. Third-party processors used for payments, email delivery, error monitoring, and analytics are disclosed by name and purpose.
The policy covers access, correction, export, and erasure rights, along with the region-specific provisions that apply under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA, and under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023. It also explains how to exercise each right and how long a response takes.
